Yesterday, Boston College defeated the UMass Minutemen in a game that had BC fans on edge much more than they were anticipating. QB Phil Jurkovec got hurt in the firts quarter and didn’t return, WR Zay Flowers was hurt for a bit but did return, and the BC defense struggled tremendously against UMass, especially with penalties. What should’ve been a cakewalk turned into a chore.
The main bright spot of the day, however, was RB Patrick Garwo III. Once Grosel came in and struggled to be super consistent, it was clear that the ground attack led by Garwo was the strongest part of the Eagles offense.
