The Anaheim Ducks have announced the re-signing of Patrick Eaves to a 3 year contract. Early reports suggest an AAV of around $3.1 million.
Eaves just wrapped up his 12th season in the pros and had the best year of his career, scoring a career high 51 points, 32 goals, and 19 assists. This was his first ever 30+ goal season in the pros.
Eaves spent much of this season with the Dallas Stars before being traded to Anaheim at the trade deadline. He has previously played for the Nashville Predators, Detroit Red Wings, Carolina Hurricanes, and Ottawa Senators.
