PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- Boston College volleyball was swept by the University of Pittsburgh Sunday afternoon at Fitzgerald Field House. The Eagles drop back to .500 at 14-14, while the Panthers (#3, #1 RPI) improve to 22-2.
Pitt dominated set one, winning 25-15. After the Eagles took a 4-0 lead and forced Pitt to take an early timeout in set two, the Panthers rallied back. The teams traded leads for the rest of the set until Pitt pulled out in front at the end, winning 25-19. BC came out hot once again in set three before the Panthers rallied back, winning the set 25-23 and securing the sweep.
