PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Boston College men's soccer team fell on the road, 1-0, at No. 8 Pitt on Saturday night at Ambrose Urbanic Field.
The Panthers scored in the third minute for the early 1-0 lead but the Eagles buckled down and prevented the hosts from finding another. Christian Garner made five first-half saves to keep it a one-goal game at the break.
The Eagles kept pushing for the equalizer, with Kristofer Konradsson getting BC's best chance of the night with under three minutes to play, but Pitt held on for the victory.
