RALEIGH, N.C. -- The Eagles dropped to 3-4 after falling to Wake Forest on Saturday and N.C. State on Sunday. On Saturday against the No. 8 Demon Deacons, the doubles teams of and , and and , both took four games in their matches, but Wake Forest secured the doubles point in a 7-0 win.
On Sunday, the No. 16 NC State Wolpack took down the Eagles 7-0. reached a third set tiebreak in the first singles competition but ultimately fell to Robin Catry of NC State.
The Eagles will head home to prepare for the Pacific Coast Doubles next weekend.
