BURLINGTON, Vt. – Boston College's offense broke out for a five-goal performance and a 5-1 triumph over Vermont on Saturday night at the Gutterson Center, completing the weekend sweep and extending the Eagles' winning streak to five games.
Freshman Christopher Grando made a statement, scoring a pair of goals, including the game-winning short-handed goal at 9:52 of the second period and a three-point performance to put BC on his back. Captain Christopher Brown netted a power play tally while sophomore Graham McPhee and Jacob Tortora also found the back of the net.
