HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. – The No. 6 Boston College lacrosse team used its offense to beat Hofstra on Long Island, 19-7, on Saturday, March 20.
Seniors Cara Urbank (2G, 5A) and Charlotte North (6G, 1A) led the way for BC, each notching seven points. The five assists and seven points are a career-high for Urbank.
Long Island native Belle Smith put up a career-high five goals back on her home soil.
The Eagles outshot the Pride, 36-23, while getting 16 draw controls to Hofstra's 11.
BC jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead and followed a pair of Hofstra goals with a 8-0 run.
