CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Boston College softball team lost to North Carolina, 9-1, in five innings on Friday afternoon in the Eagles first ACC game at Anderson Stadium.
The Eagles drop to 7-12 and 0-1 in the conference. North Carolina improved to 13-9 overall and 3-1 in the ACC. The two teams will play the second game of the three game series Saturday at 1 p.m.
Boston College struggled offensively as the lone hit was a third inning home run from sophomore . She now has two home runs and 11 RBI. It was also the ninth consecutive game Boston College has hit a home run.
