NEWTON, Mass. - No. 9 Boston College field hockey (11-3, 5-0 ACC) defeated No. 13 UAlbany (12-3, 4-0 AE) by a score of 3-1 on Sunday afternoon.
The Eagles got off to a hot start, with Yani Zhong finding the back of the net just four minutes into the game after a shot from Mia Garber bounced her way. Garber would add another for the Eagles two minutes later, firing a shot from the top of the circle.
The Great Danes came out swinging in the second quarter, as Charlotte Triggs got on the board just 27 seconds in.
