No. 9 Eagles Fall in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The ninth-ranked Boston College fell, 3-0, to 13th-ranked Wake Forest on Friday night at Kentner Stadium. The Eagles (11-6, 0-6 ACC) snapped a three-game winning streak.

The Demon Deacons (10-6, 3-3 ACC) scored two goals in the first half and two in the second to hand BC its third shutout of the season.

Sophomore Sarah Dwyer made nine saves, the second-most in her career. Wake outshot the Eagles, 14-4, and had eight corners while BC had two.
