NEWTON, Mass. – In front of a sold-out, standing room only crowd at the Newton Field Hockey Complex, the No. 9 Boston College field hockey team fell to No. 1 North Carolina, 3-1, in the ACC Championship on Sunday.
BC took five shots throughout the game, while having five penalty corners.
In net, Sarah Dwyer played just over 57 minutes, making three saves and giving up all three goals.
UNC opened the scoring in the first period, where Marissa Creatore scored with an extra player on a penalty corner at 11:53.
