WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The No. 7 Boston College field hockey team fell to No. 1 North Carolina, 6-3, in the national semifinal on Friday, Nov. 22 at Kentner Stadium.
Margo Carlin scored two of BC's three goals on the game. The goals were her 19th and 20th on the season, making her the fourth BC player ever to record 20 in a season.
BC opened the game with a goal just 54 seconds into the first period. Carlin inserted the ball and then stepped in receiving the ball back from Sky Caron before lifting the ball into the top right corner of the goal.
