NEWTON, Mass. – The No. 5 Boston College lacrosse team tallied its fourth straight win over No. 19 Massachusetts, 16-9, Wednesday afternoon on home turf.
This is the second victory of the season that has come against a ranked opponent and BC's first 4-0 start to a season since 2015 when the Eagles went 10-0 to open the season.
UMass (1-1, 0-0 Atlantic 10) notched the first goal of the game early, but it was quickly answered by junior Dempsey Arsenault. The Eagles then pulled into the lead as senior Emma Schurr secured her third goal of the season.
