CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – No. 44 Harvard held off a valiant effort from visiting Boston College 6-1 on Sunday afternoon in non-conference action at the Murr Center. The Eagles dropped to 5-12 on the season, while the Crimson moved to 12-5.
Derek Austin and Conor Mullins defeated the 33rd-ranked pair of Logan Weber and Andy Zhou in No. 1 doubles by a score of 6-3. BC nearly pulled out the doubles point, but Robert Wrzesinski and Brian Shi edged out the team of Chris Grasel and Markus Nordby in a tiebreaker to give Harvard a 1-0 lead.
