CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Fourth-ranked Boston College pushed its winning streak to eight with a 2-1 Hockey East victory over New Hampshire Friday on Senior Night at Kelley Rink.
The Eagles improved to 24-8-1 overall and 17-6-0 in Hockey East, while the Wilcats dropped to 15-15-3 (9-12-2 HEA) with one game remaining.
The rookie class led the way for BC as Spencer Knight turned aside 23 of the 24 Wildcat shots he faced to extend his personal winning streak to eight.
Marshall Warren became just the second freshman defenseman in Hockey East this season to score at least six goals, while classmate Mike Hardman collected his 11th of the season in the victory.
