No. 4 Eagles Come Back to Beat LIU 4-2 in Home Opener

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – No. 4 Boston College scored four unanswered goals and came back to beat Long Island 4-2 on Friday night in front of more than 7,300 fans in its home opener at an electric Kelley Rink.

The Eagles won the shot battle 38-12 and improved to 2-0-0, while the Sharks fell to 0-3-0 following the first meeting in series history.

LIU led 2-0 within the first nine minutes on goals from Remy Parker and Valtteri Piironen, but graduate transfer put BC on the board with his first goal as an Eagle at 12:09.
