BOSTON – No. 4 Boston College defeated rival Boston University 4-1 in the Battle of Comm Ave on Saturday at Agganis Arena to clinch its 17th Regular Season Championship in the 36-year history of Hockey East.
The Eagles (23-8-1, 16-6-0 HEA) swept the regular season series 2-0-0 from the Terriers to push their winning streak to seven. BC posted its third straight 4-1 victory at Agganis and moved to 5-1-1 in its last seven road trips to BU.
