CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Sophomore Maegan Beres scored midway through the third period then the No. 4/4 Boston College women's hockey team held off rival Boston University for a 4-3 win on Tuesday night at Kelley Rink. Four players scored for the Eagles in Beres, Lindsay Agnew, Ryan Little and Kelly Browne while nine players tallied points.
Six minutes into the first period, Agnew opened the scoring and set off a string of four goals over a span of 10:20. Little's first goal of the year six minutes after Agnew's pushed the Eagles' lead out to two goals, but the Terriers didn't take long to answer.
