HANOVER, N.H. – No. 20 Boston College dominated from start to finish on New Year's Eve, coasting to a 6-1 victory over host Dartmouth to win the 32nd Ledyard Classic at Thompson Arena on Friday night.
BC claimed the Ledyard Classic title for the third time after winning the event in 2010 and 2014. The Eagles improved to 10-5-3 (5-3-2 HEA) and extended their unbeaten streak to six games (4-0-2) to close the calendar year.
Jack McBain scored twice for the second straight night and was named the Tournament MVP, pushing his team-high goal total to 13.
