In No. 1 singles, Derek Austin played a tight first set against the third-ranked player in the nation Petros Chrysochos but fell in a tiebreaker and lost the second set 6-2. The Eagles earned their lone point in No. 2 singles as Markus Nordby won a superbreaker against No. 22 Bar Botzer following two competitive sets of tennis.
