CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The second-ranked Northeastern Huskies came out on top of the ninth-ranked Boston College women's hockey team, 4-1, in a battle of top-10 teams on Friday afternoon at Kelley Rink.
opened the scoring with two minutes remaining in the first period to give BC a 1-0 lead at the first break. The Huskies, though, would even the score late in the second period and then score three goals in the third for the 4-1 win.
The Eagles went 0-for-2 on the power play while the Huskies went 0-for-5. Northeastern had the 36-26 lead in shots on goal.
