CLEMSON, S.C. – Despite out-shooting Clemson for much of the match on Friday night, Boston College fell to the second-ranked Tigers 3-0 in the squad's first ACC road test of the season at Historic Riggs Field.
BC saw its four-match unbeaten streak come to a close as the Eagles dropped to 3-2-1 overall and 0-1-1 in conference play. Clemson remained perfect on the season at 7-0-0 (2-0-0 ACC).
The Tigers opened the scoring in the 17th minute through Isaiah Reid. Christian Garner made the initial save on Ousmane Sylla, but the rebound fell to Reid on the edge of the six-yard box and he finished for his sixth goal of the season.
