DURHAM, N.C. – Second-ranked Boston College scored eight unanswered goals to propel the Eagles past No. 23 Notre Dame, 17-7, in the semifinal of the ACC Women's Lacrosse Championship Friday at Koskinen Stadium on the campus of Duke University.
Boston College improved to 19-0 on the season, which is a new program record for most wins in a single-season. This will be BC's first appearance in the ACC championship game.
Senior Kaileen Hart and junior Sam Apuzzo combined for eight of the Eagles' 17 goals. Hart finished the game with four goals and an assist for five points.
