WEYMOUTH, Mass. – Boston College hosted 12th-ranked Wake Forest on Sunday morning at the Weymouth Club, falling to the Demon Deacons by a score of 7-0 in ACC play.
BC's record is now 0-6 (0-6 ACC), while Wake Forest improved to 13-4 (4-1 ACC).
Wake Forest moved quickly towards clinching the doubles point, but BC's Max Motlagh and Sean Mullins gave Adam Ambrozy and Siddhant Banthia a tough match in the No. 1 doubles slot, ultimately falling in a tiebreaker 7-6.
Freshman Shreekar Eedara was the only Eagles player to take his singles match to a third game tiebreaker, before falling to Banthia.
