After some solid defense from both teams, the Hawks found their way past Eagles' goalkeeper Jonna Kennedy in the 20th minute. The 1-0 score held until SJU scored again early in the fourth quarter. BC had two late scoring opportunities via penalty corners, but were unable to capitalize.
Fusine Govaert tallied three shots on-goal for the Eagles, while Jonna Kennedy made seven saves during the match. SJU attempted seven penalty corners while BC attempted five.
