MANCHESTER-BY-THE-SEA, Mass. – 11th-ranked Georgia Tech earned a 6-1 ACC victory over No. 49 Boston College on Sunday at the Manchester Athletic Club.
The Eagles slipped to 8-4 (0-4 ACC) while the Yellow Jackets improved to 12-5 (2-1 ACC).
Laura Lopez earned the lone point for BC to protect her perfect record in singles. The sophomore pulled our a third set tiebreaker in fourth singles against Nami Otsuka, moving to 11-0 on the season.
Georgia Tech won in straight sets at the No. 1, 2, 3 and 5 singles positions to accumulate a 5-0 advantage and clinch the match.
