NEWTON, Mass. - The No. 10 Boston College Eagles (9-3, 4-0 ACC) defeated the No. 18 California Golden Bears (6-4, 0-4 ACC) by a score of 4-0 on Friday evening. All four of the Eagles' goals came within 10 minutes of each other in the second quarter.
The Eagles were on the attack early, attempting five shots in the first quarter. The first goal came a minute into the second quarter, as Madelieve Drion found the back of the net for her fifth goal of the season. Three minutes later, Elisa Brauel-Jahnke tipped home a slick feed from Klara Mueffelmann to put the Eagles up 2-0.
