NEWTON, Mass.– The No. 1 Boston College lacrosse team took down another ranked opponent as they defeated No. 7 Virginia, 16-9, Saturday afternoon in Newton. The Eagles were led by senior Sam Apuzzo who tallied six goals on the day and assisted on one other to total seven points. Classmate Dempsey Arsenault and junior Cara Urbank both added three goals in the effort while Sheila Rietano and Jordan Lappin each found the back of the net twice. Sophomore goalkeeper Abbey Ngai maintained her hot streak in between the pipes, tallying 10 saves on the day.
