NEWTON, Mass. – The No. 1 Boston College lacrosse team topped their third top-10 opponent in two weeks as they defeated No. 5 Notre Dame, 13-9, Wednesday afternoon in Newton. The Eagles were led by senior Sam Apuzzo and junior Cara Urbank who each tallied three goals while graduate student Kenzie Kent led all point-scorers with six, tallying two goals and assisting on four others. Sophomore goalkeeper Abbey Ngai marked her ninth straight win with 14 saves in net, tying her career-best.
Through the opening minutes, both teams' defenses held strong as the teams combined for five turnovers before the first goal was scored.
