BLACKSBURG, Va. – The No. 1 Boston College lacrosse team prevented a late second-half comeback from No. 21 Virginia Tech with a full-team effort as the Eagles secured the win, 16-13, Saturday afternoon in Blacksburg. Graduate student Kenzie Kent, seniors Sam Apuzzo and Dempsey Arsenault, and junior Cara Urbank each tallied three goals in the effort. Apuzzo led all scorers, assisting on three goals in addition to her own three for six points on the day. Junior Sheila Rietano added two points of her own while classmate Kate Taylor and sophomore Maggie Casey added one goal apiece in the win.
