DURHAM, N.H. – The No. 10 Boston College women's hockey team fell to the University of New Hampshire on Saturday afternoon at the Whittemore Center, 3-2.
and scored for the Eagles in the loss, with Agnew setting a new career-high in points and goals.
After a scoreless first period in which the Eagles outshot the Wildcats, 13-4, Agnew broke the deadlock five minutes into the middle frame. UNH responded to Agnew's short-handed tally exactly eight minutes later but Watts' unassisted bid late in the second gave BC a 2-1 lead after two.
The Wildcats capitalized on a 5-on-3 in the third period to even the game up, 2-2, before taking a one-goal lead with 5:39 to play.
