  • Sophomore right-hander Jack Nelson did not allow a run or walk through a five-inning start, striking out three and allowing just one hit. He retired the final 11 batters he faced and tied a career high for innings pitched.
  • Sophomore Gian Martellini tripled in the sixth to extend his career-long hit streak to nine games – the longest of the season for any BC player – and has at least one knock in 34 of the 41 games played this season.
