CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College men's hockey is heading to the NCAA Tournament as the No. 1 overall seed for the third time in program history. The Eagles (31-5-1) open at the Providence Regional on Friday, March 29 at 2 p.m. against Michigan Tech at the Amica Mutual Pavilion.
BC was previously the No. 1 overall seed in 2005 and 2012; the team's fifth and most recent National Championship. The Hockey East regular season and tournament champions, embark on their 37th NCAA Tournament appearance and first since 2021.
Under second-year head coach Greg Brown, the Eagles won their 12th Hockey East Tournament Championship and 18th Regular Season Championship.
