Campanile was a member of the Rutgers coaching staff for the past four years.
The swath of changes continued to the Boston College coaching staff as Steve Addazio announced on Wednesday that Anthony Campanile, the wide receivers coach for Rutgers, will join the Boston College Eagles as a defensive backs coach.
It's a return to roots of sorts for the former Scarlet Knight, who competed against Boston College as part of the Big East Conference. Between 2001 and 2004, the 33-year old played linebacker and safety under head coach Greg Schiano.
From there, he rooted down in the local New Jersey high school coaching scene, coaching linebackers at Fair Lawn High School in Fair Lawn, NJ after serving as a student assistant in '05 for Rutgers.
