Incoming Boston College defender Michael Karow has been selected by the Arizona Coyotes in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. Karow, who was chosen in the 5th round, joins one former Eagle in the Coyotes organization - Joe Whitney plays for the Tucson Roadrunners in the AHL. He has steadily risen up in the draft rankings over the past year, and could be a good get for the Coyotes as he benefits from the structure of NCAA hockey.
Karow spent the 2016-17 season with the Youngstown Phantoms of the USHL. He is a hard working defender that has shown improvement over the past few seasons.
