Boston College swept the season series against Virginia Tech in thrilling fashion with an overtime victory. Steffon Mitchell turned in a double-double which included a career high 21 points and a stat line that was the best in the ACC in over twenty years. The road trip comes to an end in Coral Gables with a match-up against the Hurricanes. The Eagles are 26-24 against the Canes but only 11-13 inside of Coral Gables. The Eagles can earn another much needed conference win against a Canes team having a down year.
