The ACC conference schedule is always going to be brutal. Starting away from home without a star freshman against the best Virginia Tech team since the mid-1990’s doesn’t make it any easier. After a great first half showing that ended with a lead, the Boston College Eagles saw their upset bid fall short to the #10 Virginia Tech Hokies 77-66. Jordan Chatman finished with 18 points for the Eagles, while Nickeil Alexander-Walker led all scorers with 25.
The first half saw a series of runs by both team as the score see-sawed.
