RALEIGH, N.C. — Boston College moved up the on the team scoreboard during day two of competition at the 2021 ACC Outdoor Championship, held at the Paul Derr Track Facility on the campus of N.C. State.
Avery McKenzie placed sixth in the triple jump, with a personal-best leap of 15.28m (50'1.75"). It is the third-best triple jump mark in Boston College history.
Denis Gallagher won his qualifying heat of the 800m, advancing to Saturday's final. He clocked 1:52.72. Friend Weiler ran a personal-best time of 1:52.80, finishing 15th overall.
