ORONO, Maine – The Boston College women's hockey team fell to Maine on the road in overtime, 2-1, on Sunday afternoon at Alfond Arena.
The Black Bears took a 1-0 lead late in the first period before Caroline DiFiore's first of the season tied things up in the second period. After neither team found the back of the net in the third frame, Maine potted the winner 42 seconds into overtime.
