BC OPENS ACC PLAY AT NC STATE
• Boston College will open the conference portion of its schedule when it travels to NC State on Friday night for a 7 p.m. match that will be aired on ESPN3.
• The two teams played to a scoreless draw last season at Harvard’s Soldiers Field Soccer Stadium. The Eagles have won two of the last three outings against NC State.
• BC opened the season going 3-1-0 in non-conference matches. Its most recent result was a 1-0 loss to Loyola Marymount on Sunday afternoon.
• NC State also went 3-1-0 and won its first three games.
