Boston College's defense gave the team everything they could be in the end it wasn't enough for the Eagles. In a rain soaked Papa John's Stadium, the Eagles dropped their fourth consecutive game, losing to the Louisville Cardinals 17-14. This was a game that Boston College's defense did everything they possibly could have to win this game, but in the end the offense couldn't get it done.
Louisville jumped out a quick 14-0 lead, after the Cardinals took a lead on a Lamar Jackson rush, and a 60 yard rumbling strip six by Sheldon Rankins.
