CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – As she did throughout her rookie season, sophomore Laura Lopez came up clutch in singles for Boston College and clinched a 4-3 road victory over Harvard on Friday night at the Murr Center.
The Eagles remained undefeated in the spring at 4-0, while the Crimson fell to 1-1.
Lopez pulled out her No. 5 singles matchup against Natasha Gonzaelz by a score of 7-5, 6-7, 6-2 for the deciding point. Natasha Irani (7-5, 6-3) and Elene Tsokilauri (6-3, 4-3 retired) posted straight set victories in the third and sixth singles slots.
