TULSA, Okla. – Boston College junior Yufei Long became just the second Eagle in school history to compete in the main draw of the ITA Women's All-American Championships this week in Oklahoma.
In her opening match, which was pushed back a day due to rain, Long fell to No. 15 overall seed Anna Turati of Texas 6-1, 6-0 on Thursday morning. Later in the day, she played a tight match against Illinois' Asuka Kawai by a score of 6-3, 6-7(2), 6-1.
"Yufei did an awesome job representing herself and Boston College playing in the All-American Championships main draw.
