DURHAM, N.H. – The No. 2 Boston College women's hockey team used a three-goal second period to pull ahead of New Hampshire on Sunday afternoon and claimed a 5-1 win at the Whittermore Center to remain unbeaten in Hockey East play.
After Kenzie Kent put BC ahead early in the first period, UNH tied it up with a power-play goal in the second half of the stanza. Coming out in the second period, the Eagles used a power-play goal from Caitrin Lonergan, a shorthanded goal from Kent and an even-strength tally from Daryl Watts to take the lead.
