After missing last weekend’s series due to his recurring ankle injury, Boston College senior forward Logan Hutsko is out for the season, as reported by Mike McMahon of College Hockey News and confirmed by BC Athletics.
Hutsko has been a top player for BC over the last four years, but has frequently battled injuries throughout his career.
While Hutsko is technically eligible to return next year due to all athletes being granted an extra year of eligibility, it is unknown at this point whether that is on Hutsko’s radar.
In the short term, this is a major blow to a BC team that tops the Hockey East and NCAA rankings and counts Hutsko as one of its key weapons in a quest to win league and national hardware.
