DALLAS, Texas -- The SERVPRO First Responder Bowl between Boston College and No. 23 Boise State was canceled due to thunderstorms in the area of the Cotton Bowl. The game kicked off at 12:30 p.m. local time and entered a lightning delay at 1 p.m. After a one-hour and 20-minute delay, bowl officials called of the game due to severe weather.
Despite BC leading 7-0 through nearly 10 minutes of play, the game is officially a no contest and statistics do not count. AJ Dillon scored on the Eagles' first possession; a 19-yard touchdown run.
