CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) named Lauren White their NCAA Division I Women's National Athlete of the Week on Oct. 11th, 2021.
On Oct. 9th, White placed first at the New England Championship in Franklin Park beating the second-place runner by 10 seconds with a time of 17:14, a personal best for the course. Here, she led her teammates to win the overall team title for the meet.
The graduate student from Woodbury, N.Y. had a successful start to the season with a first-place finish (17:12) Ken O'Brien Invitational and a ninth-place finish (17:23) at the Coast to Coast Battle in Beantown.
