STORRS, Conn. – Freshman Kristofer Konradsson scored twice in the final 12 minutes on Tuesday night but the Boston College men's soccer team couldn't complete the comeback at Joseph Morrone Stadium and fell to the UConn Huskies, 3-2.
Despite BC carrying the early edge in shots (3-2) and shots on goal (2-1) through the first 28 minutes, it would be the Huskies that scored first. Minutes later, Trevor Davock's pressure in the box earned a penalty kick but Austin Aviza was just able to get a fist onto Simon Enstrom's 31st minute attempt and knock it off the post.
