CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Boston College lacrosse earned a dominating 19-5 win over No. 6 seed Duke on Wednesday evening in the quarterfinals of the ACC Championship held in Charlotte.
The Eagles will face No. 2 seed Notre Dame for a spot in the finals on Friday at 8 p.m. on ACC Network.
BC used a 7-1 second period after leading 4-2 in the first to capture a commanding 11-3 cushion going into the break. The Eagles opened up the second frame with five straight before Notre Dame stopped the run. Cassidy Weeks and Emma LoPinto scored before the half to give BC the eight-goal advantage.
