Point guard Ky Bowman will withdraw from the 2018 NBA draft ahead of the May 30 deadline and will return to Boston College for his junior season, per CBS’s Jon Rothstein.
Bowman declared for the NBA draft following a sophomore season in which he put up 17.6 points and 6.8 rebounds per game, while shooting .362 from three. He finished the year as an honorable mention for All-ACC. Unlike his backcourt partner Jerome Robinson, Bowman opted not to hire an agent to maintain his NCAA eligibility while testing the draft waters. Though he was not invited to the draft combine, Bowman worked out for individual teams including the Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Houston Rockets.
